President Marcos Jr. Launches 'Bagong Pilipinas' Movement at Quirino Grandstand

President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr., along with members of the First Family and important Cabinet officials, led the country's adoption of the "Bagong Pilipinas" style of administration on January 28, 2024, during a historic rally at the Quirino Grandstand in Manila City.

A break from party politics is conveyed by "Bagong Pilipinas" (New Philippines), which encourages people from all walks of life to actively engage in the achievement of common national goals. Integrity, accountability, and dependability are highlighted in this revolutionary governance paradigm, which is supported by strong social institutions dedicated to achieving the goals shared by all Filipinos.

A spectacular exhibition of Filipino talent took place during the event, with performers captivating the audience with everything from dance routines and musical acts to moving spoken word poetry. The 'Bagong Pilipinas Serbisyo Fair,' a complete demonstration of government programs and services united together under one roof, was the rally's main attraction. Participants received a range of services, such as payments for pre-identified recipients of the Assistance for Individuals in Crisis Situations (AICS) program of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), clearances from the PNP and NBI, and registrations with PhilHealth, the Pag-IBIG Fund, and the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA). Furthermore, transactions with the Social Security Administration (SSS), the Government Service Insurance System (GSIS), and the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) were made easier, which helped the general people by simplifying bureaucratic procedures.
