Users are urged to act quickly as the clock is running out in order to finish the registration process. SIM users who are not registered may face sanctions if they don't meet the deadline. Typhoon "EGAY" "DOKSURI" Strengthens as It Approaches Northeastern Luzon

  Photo: pagasa.dost.gov.ph The eye of Typhoon "EGAY" DOKSURI is estimated to be around 350 km east southeast of Tuguegarao City, Cagayan, or about 320 km east northeast of Casiguran, Aurora, as of the most recent observation at 3:00 AM today (17.1N, 125.0°E). The typhoon is generating strong wind gusts of up to 215 km/h and maximum sustained winds of 175 km/h around its core, posing major hazards to the impacted areas. The typhoon is currently moving 15 km/h westward and northwestward, perhaps getting closer to the Northeastern Luzon vulnerable areas. The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) is one official source that local authorities and residents in these areas are recommended to regularly monitor for updates. Preparation efforts should be given priority as Typhoon "EGAY" approaches to safeguard the safety of communities that may be in its course.
