The typhoon is generating strong wind gusts of up to 215 km/h and maximum sustained winds of 175 km/h around its core, posing major hazards to the impacted areas. The typhoon is currently moving 15 km/h westward and northwestward, perhaps getting closer to the Northeastern Luzon vulnerable areas.
