Joe Biden leaves the 2024 presidential race and endorses Kamala Harris

As most people expected, the U.S. Joe Biden made the decision not to run for president in 2024. This move was made in response to weeks of declining popularity due to his dismal performance in the debate versus Republican contender and former President Donald Trump.

Vice President Kamala Harris is the candidate that Biden supports the most.

Biden's latest debate performance raised worries among Democrats over his viability. Biden often stumbled and spoke inappropriately during the discussion, sending off the impression that he was aging and out of touch.

A new layer of uncertainty has emerged in the political scene following last weekend's attempt on President Trump's life. Concerns about Democrats losing the White House and congressional seats are heightened by recent surveys showing that some people who were on the opposing side have switched to back Trump.

"My fellow Democrats, I have decided not to accept the nomination and to focus all my energies on my duties as President for the remainder of my term," Biden said. We will suffer greatly because of his presidency, but we will remedy the damage he has done very quickly. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!"
